All those pictures are so cute!! I love the one with them wearing their hats and sleeping together. Poor KaeLynn and her injuries this month! That pool looks like so much fun! I've never seen the fountains in someones backyard like that - how fun :)
How sweet that your Blake has a frog! That is so cute! Honestly, I see nothing wrong with him finding comfort in that. I say, let him do what makes him comfortable. I wouldn't stress about taking that away...unless it bothers you. I would think it would cause more trauma for him than help. Seriously, the hardest part of it all for me was knowing that I was separating him from his best friend. He's done so much better now, but I can see it's still affecting him. I think that as long as he's only using it in bed, that's just fine! It's so cute! However, a binkie...there's such a stigma associated with that. We HAD to get rid of it. The thumb sucking thing, that you'll have to stop some day. So to sum it all up, I say don't worry about the frog or silky things, worry about the thumb! :) Good luck!
New word for Blake..."bubble." He had his 18 month check the other day, over more than a month late, and he was lower than the 15th percentile on everything. Sorry that we don't have tall, fat, big headed kids! Sept 30, 2009
Blake is finally starting to talk a little. He says "what's that?" and "dog, mama, and dad." He loves to suck his thumb and hold his frog blanket. He also enjoys pulling his sister's hair. July 15, '09

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us.We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be?You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you.We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.It's not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."~ Marianne Williamson - from "A Return To Love" ~
